3. The front of your property is the first impression people see. It is said that prospective buyers or tenants make their minds up before they even step inside. Ensure that the front of your property is the most desirable in the street. Spruce it up, polish the door number and put some fresh planters outside. Make that first impression a lasting one!

4. If your property has been languishing on the market for a while redecorate in neutral tones the "BMW" (beige, magnolia, white) look really sells, I still charge a premium rate on my cottage as it has this decor - looks like new every time I need a new tenant.
